What We Do

We Support Nations to
Thrive Once Again!

By bridging ancient wisdom with modern technology, connecting a global network of wise practice and experience, and supporting teams, leaders and communities with tools, training, coaching and mentorship, we support in the creation of healthy, vibrant nations and self-empowered people.

What We Do

Nation Re-Building

We assist communities and nations in developing their vision, strategy, policies and organizational structures, using proven tools and frameworks, to establish good governance, financial, corporate, environmental and resource management, and the capacity for effective and culturally relevant decision-making over their lands and natural resources.

Building Leaders - Nation Re-Building “train the trainer”

We support youth and heart-centered entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge to champion Nation Re-Building in their territories. By providing values-based capacity-building, coaching and mentorship to teams and leaders, based on practical and proven experiences and frameworks, they are equipped with the tools, skills and knowledge to lead lasting change in their communities.

Creating Life Economies

The movement to a Life Economy is a natural evolution born out of the knowledge that there is no separation between us and the natural world. There is only life. We are all life and all part of the natural order of things. Therefore, our relationship with the natural world must be one of fostering healthy continuity so that we all may live and thrive. An economy of service to life is one where we strive to not only maintain this equilibrium but strive to enhance it. We do this by working with the Earth, with the land, with each other, and through a consideration of the whole. By using new technologies such as geo-mapping, IoT, blockchain and new forms of “full value accounting” we support communities and entrepreneurs create economies and development that considers the full spectrum of life systems.

Empowering Partnerships

We support communities to negotiate, build, implement and sustain equitable partnerships with industry and green companies, to assist in their Nation Building vision and strategy. Through our global network of innovative, biomimetic and sustainable enterprises, we connect communities with new opportunities for high-value businesses that support their own values and principles. We then provide the training, mentorship and coaching for leaders and teams to negotiate partners that enable their traditional knowledge, lands and resources to be respected and protected for healthy and prosperous economic development of their Nations. Lastly, we support in the implementation and long-term viability of such partnerships or the eventual transition to full ownership by the Nation of the business.

Global Network of Wise Practice

We share experiences and wise-practices across more than 100 Nations for connecting communities, youth and Elders from around the world with cross-cultural expertise to help build local resilience, increase global collaboration, and share wise practices, stories and experiences.

Professional Services

We provide professional services in the following niche areas:
• Community development assessment and strategy
• Joint-venture partnership opportunity assessment and negotiation strategy
• Regenerative food system assessment and planning
• Peacebuilding between communities, governments and industry
• Economic governance and Board of Director training

Our approach is rooted in practices that are proven, practical, and working on the ground in Canadian Indigenous communities.

We ensure that these mechanisms are tailored to meet specific community needs, as well as local realities. Combining traditional wisdom and contemporary knowledge at each stage, to create a holistic and values-based community-led process that reflects the interconnectedness of the community and enables members to define their future on their own terms, is a truly sustainable model to development.

We are pleased to invite you on March 30th for a day of healing and awareness with Bear Standing Tall and Associates. This is an online Virtual Tipi Commemoration event for the Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, Two-Spirit and Gender Diverse. The day will be spent honouring these Life Givers through Support and Action for Ontario First Nations, Metis, and Inuit Families Survivors as well as Ontario Indigenous front-line workers.

Guest Speakers include Monica Rutledge Indigenous Constable for Toronto Police Department, guests from BC MMIW Team: Alexandra O'daunaghey, Gladys Radek; Highway of Tears Commemoration project, Becky Big Canoe; followup on inquiry and actions across Canada and more!

The goal of this event is to present Indigenous Voices in a way that will educate and engage our audience of 100 guests from Industry, government and community leaders so we can walk away with concrete ideas on how to move forward with reconciliation surrounding the final report of the MMIWG2S, as well as have a better understanding of the deliberate human and Indigenous rights violations and abuses in violence against Indigenous women in Canada. This conference aims to foster understanding, and allyship of non-indgenous peoples by creating a safe space for these important issues to be understood.

This event is free to attend, but spots are limited so please register today!

Tipi Commemoration to be unveiled May 5, 2022 in Honour of our Life Givers: Prayers for their return home @evergreen_brick_works
