In her role, Farrah collaborates with senior leadership to facilitate the development of self-reliant, value-based economies and foster connections through reciprocal learning and dynamic partnerships. Her efforts contribute to sustainable solutions that promote the well-being of current and future generations, creating a collaborative environment where both people and the planet can thrive.
Born and raised in the Niagara Region of Ontario, Farrah acknowledges and appreciates that the land on which she lives and works is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, many of whom continue to thrive in the area. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement. Today, this gathering place is home to many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples, reminding us that our standard of living is closely tied to the resources and friendships of Indigenous peoples.
