Dr. Arzu Mountain Spirit

Dr. Arzu Mountain Spirit is a master herbalist, teacher, traditional Garifuna healer and ancestral health autonomy expert. Dr. Arzu is dedicated to preserving and sharing the healing and spiritual traditions of the Garifuna people. She is the founder of the Wagiya Foundation, a non-profit organization that works to protect and promote Garifuna healing practices. Dr. Arzu’s ancestral healing methods were passed down to her through generations of Garifuna matriarchal healers. She currently resides in Belize, where she runs a traditional healing practice and facilitates Mountain Spirit Wellness Retreats.
