Cree is a proud member of Bearskin Lake First Nation (Treaty 9); born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario. With more than seven years of experience in Indigenous event planning, Cree has coordinated initiatives ranging from youth councils and business networking gatherings to large-scale urban celebrations. Her work reflects a strong commitment to creating inclusive spaces that uplift Indigenous voices and foster meaningful connections.
In addition to event planning, Cree brings extensive experience in communications and digital design, contributing to community engagement efforts across northern communities. She has also supported communities through major infrastructure projects and initiatives that promote equitable participation in sustainable natural resource management.
Through her role with the Global Indigenous Development Trust (GIDT), Cree continues to advance impactful projects that blend traditional knowledge, modern communications, and creative design to amplify Indigenous leadership and innovation.
