Sean is also serving as co-chair of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business. After a 20-year career in the resource industry, Sean knows how to navigate the obstacles to equitable partnerships between Indigenous communities, government and corporations. Growing up in and around mining, Sean experienced life in communities across the Canadian Shield –from the Northwest Territories to Nunavut to Alberta to Saskatchewan. Sean’s greatest career achievement was signing five community-based agreements in Australia and in northern Saskatchewan and completing the most unique legacy trust fund in Canada, the Six River Trust. He brings a depth of knowledge in Indigenous engagement and inclusion, human resources, communications and government relations – and now he is using that experience to help communities around the world build a better and more prosperous future.
Our vision is a global network of healthy, vibrant, thriving communities and people, living their true potential.
