Judy has worked for the Canadian federal government, multi-national corporations and charitable organizations as a financial analyst and controller, and is currently working as an independent consultant. An experienced lecturer, facilitator, and educator on topics ranging from language proficiency skills to small business development, Judy has volunteered for several years in community outreach programs delivering financial literacy workshops. She has spent the last few years training as a dispute resolution practitioner and is an active community mediator and conflict resolution coach. As a board member on the steering committee of the Indigenous Reconciliation and Advancement group within her provincial association, Judy works to raise awareness of Indigenous issues amongst practitioners. Judy also serves on the board of the Applewood Centre for Adult Learning, an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of adults living with developmental disabilities. Fluent in English and Spanish, her knowledge of language and culture enhance her natural ability to facilitate collaboration between disparate perspectives.
